Surprised, Shocked, Honored and Then Throw In Some “Giggles”

Surprised and shocked would define what I initially felt when I received an email from Soft Scrub® announcing that I had been selected as one of only 200 people to be chosen as a “Soft Scrub Club Captain.” As I read the email, I felt honored that Soft Scrub was going to allow me the opportunity to test and review a brand new product even before it hit the store shelves. Wow!
Now here is where the “giggles” come in. And I quote from the email announcement, “You were selected based on your memorable personality, online know-how and passion for cleaning.” I’m not kidding you. That’s what it actually said. (Ok, ya’ll can stop laughing now!)
As most of our readers know, as Founder of the Housework Haters Club I really do hate housework. True, I have to do it because….well, it just has to be done. But to say I have a passion for cleaning? (I’m giggling again)
But what I do have a passion for is finding and sharing products with you that make housework easier and less of a chore so that we may spend more time doing what we really like. So I revert back to “Honored” to have been selected and add “tickled pink” that I can share my opinions with you about cleaning products that will be released to the market in the near future.
Although I will receive a product to test and review, I will receive no monetary compensation as a Soft Scrub Club Captain. My reviews are always honest and without influence, as they will be for Soft Scrub.
